Frequently Asked Questions
Why you need a specialist agent, deposit safety, commission rules, quality responsibility, sample-versus-mass-production and obsolete replacement — answered directly.
Finding a factory is easy; knowing whether that factory and that panel fit your project is not. Display problems are technical and invisible until the sample arrives — a wrong interface, a pinout that does not match, a backlight that dies at 70 °C. Our team comes from BOE, TIANMA, Samsung and Sharp, so we check interface compatibility with your engineers and the mass-production readiness of the materials before you pay for tooling.
The deposit and the balance are paid by you directly to the factory. Funsun never collects, holds or guarantees goods payment — we invoice only our commission, so your money never passes through a third party.
10% of the net display module value, with a minimum of USD 100 per bulk order. The base is the display goods value only — freight, laboratory testing, certification, factory audit and warehousing are excluded and billed separately at cost.
No. Two milestones: 30% of the total commission when you pay the factory its 30% production deposit, and the remaining 70% after the pre-shipment inspection passes and before you release the factory balance. Long-term clients can agree on a single payment after inspection.
No. The factory quotation you receive is the price you pay. Our earnings come only from the disclosed commission, which is written into the agency agreement before the order starts.
No agent can honestly guarantee a factory's output. We inspect independently against the specification confirmed between you and the factory, report truthfully with photos, and help escalate issues. Manufacturing quality and lead-time risk remain between buyer and factory.
That is exactly what the engineering review is designed to prevent: we confirm hardware and software with your engineers — structure and pin definition included — and check that every material behind the panel is ready for mass production before you commit. If a failure still happens, we take it back to the factory, identify whether it is an interface, timing or parameter issue, and source an alternative before mass production.
Yes. Mobile phone LCD and OLED modules are one of our four core areas, together with industrial control, medical and automotive displays — plus obsolete panel replacement across all of them.
Yes — obsolete LCD replacement is one of our main services. We cross-reference the original part number against outline drawing, FPC pinout, connector position, backlight current and cover glass, then present matched alternatives with the differences clearly stated.
No. A Package B session costs USD 200, and up to 50% of that fee can be offset against the commission of a later Package A bulk order.
Yes. You pay the factory directly for the samples and their freight; samples carry no commission. We only charge a USD 100 service-cost fee — the commission minimum — when the sample order is placed. Only bulk orders carry commission.
Free review takes 2–5 working days, sampling 2–4 weeks, and mass production typically 3–6 weeks. We confirm the schedule with the factory before the deposit, push production at each milestone, and finish the pre-shipment inspection before you release the balance — slippage gets flagged early, not discovered at the shipping date.
Manufacturing quality and delivery risk stay between the buyer and the factory; our obligation is reasonable coordination and truthful reporting. Yes, we sign a mutual NDA before you share drawings or specifications — the template is ready on request.
Still unsure?
Send the specification or the part number you need to replace. The first review costs nothing, and we will tell you straightforwardly whether we are the right fit for the project.
